Rapidly changing reimbursement landscape
Like all practices, Alvior Medical was trying to keep pace with the changing reimbursement landscape. Despite their best efforts, Alvior Medical faced too many workarounds with their existing practice management (PM) and electronic health records (EHR) systems, causing them to fail the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) requirement for Medicare reimbursement.
